                   Literature Class web page introduced. Class expectations and forms discussed.
                   ROT Project introduced and assignments given. Project workdays will be Fridays.  
                   WebBoard introduced. Reading Survey downloaded, completed, and printed out.

Due Sept. 2: Read Author's Note and up to Ch. 3 in ROT.
                   Read through ROT Resource web page. Complete journal entry assignment on that page.
                   Be prepared to share and discuss reading and journal entry.

Sept. 3:       Silent reading, journal entry prompt completed in class.

Due Sept. 4: Read up to Ch. 4 in ROT. Group discussion and vocabulary sheet in class.

Sept. 5:       ROT Project workday. Post group proposal on WebBoard by end of class.

Due Sept. 8: Read up to Ch. 5 in ROT. Respond to discussion question on WebBoard over weekend or by end of                    class.

Sept. 22: ROT Group Projects due.

Sept. 22-23: ROT presentations.
