1. The meeting was called to order by Chris Tormey, Chair at 6:12 p.m.
2. Public Comment
Some community members had heard about the possibly of the kindergarten program being cut and wanted to voice their concerns about that. Chris said that last year the kindergarten program was cut to 80% because of the low numbers of children. This year the numbers have gone up again. The Board expects this position/program to go back to 100% again.
They also discussed full day kindergarten and whether that could be a possibility. The parents believe that this would be a huge benefit to their children to prepare them for going into the grade one/two classroom.

a. Budget FY2010 – George and David had a discussion with the Board on the FY2010 budget. The Board was given a revised budget that reflected the changes (additions and subtractions) made at the last Board meeting.

David discussed at length (page by page) the changes and where we are at now with the budget. The Board asked numerous questions. The Board will finalize the budget for FY2010 at the next Board meeting.
